Your loved one’s fingerprint can be obtained from the funeral home who helped you. You can contact them to see if you can obtain a digital version of the fingerprint to create your necklace. If your funeral home has a partnership with Forever LT, they may have provided you with a Loved One ID. This 11 character number will allow us to find your loved one’s fingerprint and create a beautiful keepsake for you. 

Please visit our website and choose the necklace style that would honor your loved one the best. Once you choose the style of necklace you want, enter the Loved one ID and/or Funeral Home that helped you. After purchase, you will receive an email and text message (if phone number is provided) with a link to upload the fingerprint of your loved one. Once the fingerprint is uploaded, we will be in communication with you as your keepsake is created and shipped to you. You should have yourkeepsake of your loved one hanging close to your heart in 3-4 weeks after purchase.

Every piece we make is completely custom and has to be created just right for you. We will try our best to get every piece of jewelry to you in as short of a time frame as possible but it could take 3-4 weeks after we have received the fingerprint.

We offer all of our designs in either Sterling Silver (with Rhodium or 14k gold plating) or 14K Solid Gold.

Most of our keepsake necklaces come standard with an adjustable cable chain at 16”-18” inches. We offer longer size chains as options on our website. You can either measure your favorite necklaces thatyou currently have and use that as a reference or you can take a look at our general size chart below. Note: Some of our necklaces such as the LT Love Tag comes with a thicker box chain in longer lengths such as 22”, 24” and 26”.

Necklaces are created custom as far as the fingerprint, footprint or ultrasound you prefer to use as well as chain length. However, the structure of the necklace (i.e. stones) is not able to be changed.

It is possible to engrave something on the back of your fingerprint keepsake. You can request it through the website at time of purchase. There will be an extra charge. Due to the size of the necklaces we are limited to the length of the engraving on the back. If you have a special request please contact us and we will do our best to create it for you. Yes, we can create your necklace from a picture of an ultrasound image or from a picture of your child’s footprint. After the purchase of your necklace, you will be asked to upload the image to the upload link we send to you. We would love to create your necklace, and as long as it has a partial print that is clear we are able to create your beautiful piece. If your print is completely smudged or completely unclear we won’t be able to create a keepsake from it but we are always available to take a look and give you our opinion prior to purchase so you can feel confident about creating your keepsake.
