Every piece we create is completely custom and thoughtfully made just for you. While we always work to complete your jewelry as quickly as possible, please allow approximately 2-3 weeks from the time we receive the fingerprint for production.
All Forever LT fingerprint keepsakes are custom-made. Once you are notified that your fingerprint necklace has entered production, the process cannot be reversed.
That said, your satisfaction matters deeply to us. If you receive your Forever LT fingerprint necklace and feel it isn’t exactly right, our Happiness Guarantee has you covered.

All of our packages are shipped via UPS Ground unless you contact us and request a faster shipping method. This request does not expedite the 3 week production duration but it will cut down on shipping. The extra charges will be invoiced to you.
We do not currently ship internationally.
You’ll receive an email when we begin creating your Forever LT Fingerprint pendant, and another once it has shipped. If you’re anything like us and love keeping tabs on your package, you can also track its journey every step of the way.
Most of our keepsake necklaces come with a standard adjustable cable chain measuring 16–18 inches. Longer chain options are also available on our website. You can also measure a favorite necklace you already own as a reference.
Note: Some styles, like the LT Love Tag, feature a thicker box chain and are available in longer lengths; 22, 24, and 26 inches.
Each necklace is fully custom when it comes to the fingerprint, footprint, pawprint, or ultrasound you choose, as well as the chain length. Please note that the necklace structure, including stones, cannot be altered.
It is possible to engrave something on the back of your fingerprint keepsake. You can request it through the website at time of purchase. There will be an extra charge. Due to the size of the necklaces we are limited to the length of the engraving on the back. If you have a special request please contact us and we will do our best to create it for you. Our fingerprint keepsakes have been created for you to keep your loved one close to your heart at all times. Feel free to wear your keepsake when showering, swimming or working out. Yes, we can create your necklace from a picture of an ultrasound image or from a picture of your child’s footprint. After the purchase of your necklace, you will be asked to upload the image to the upload link we send to you.
We would love to create your necklace, and as long as it has a partial print that is clear we are able to create your beautiful piece. If your print is completely smudged or completely unclear, we won’t be able to create a keepsake from it, but we are always available to take a look and give you our opinion prior to purchase so you can feel confident about creating your keepsake.
Your loved one’s fingerprint can be obtained from the funeral home who helped you. You can contact them to see if you can obtain a digital version of the fingerprint to create your necklace. If your funeral home has a partnership with Forever LT, they may have provided you with a Loved One ID. This 11 character number will allow us to find your loved one’s fingerprint and create a beautiful keepsake for you.Â

All fingerprints collected by Forever LT Fingerprint Keepsakes are used solely for the purpose of designing and manufacturing your keepsakes. We do not share fingerprints with any third parties.
2. Security of Your Data
We prioritize the security of your data and have implemented stringent measures to ensure its safety:
- We store images on a secure platform with state-of-the-art cybersecurity protocols that are regularly updated.
- Our processes are designed to prevent the linking of a fingerprint to a specific person's identity. While you purchase an item, we do not retain the ability to associate the source of the fingerprint with an individual.
- Throughout the creation process (enhancing, engraving, etc.), each image is referenced only by a unique identifier that is engraved on the back of your necklace. There is no association of names with fingerprint images during our customization procedures.
3. Disclosure and Sharing of Information
We do not and will never sell any customer information, including personal information or fingerprints, to third parties.
